First Harvest
Community Garden- WE
NEED YOU. Our first year as a local
outreach to our seniors, our community
garden was a huge success. The Tolland
Senior Center used the garden frequently
and enjoyed the fresh produce immensely.
Did you know that one of the first
things to go on a limited income is
access to fresh produce? This year we
hope to equal our success and also add
some cooking classes. BUT WE NEED YOU.
Many of the people who helped out last
year have had to withdraw their
commitment this

year, and so we are hurting for
volunteers.
Without you we fear the garden will
not continue. What a shame that would
be. Please contact Linda Suess and or
Rev. Judy Medeiros immediately if you
are able to give time to this important
local ministry.
And remember the planting date of
Saturday, June 1, 9:00 a.m. All ages and
people are welcome.
